Out of Bounds is a short PSX horror game where you discover a cheat code and explore the map. You then get to out of bounds and something... just doesn't feel right....

HOW TO PLAY:
Once you load into the 'game' you type in 'jumper' on your keyboard and the cheat code will activate.

This game is inspired by No Players Online. I have no affiliation with the game.

Such a creepy setting! You really captured the same vibe and discomfort as No Players Online while still creating your own creepy little unsettling world.

I really enjoyed it :)

The atmosphere was pretty great and the map went in a circle making it believable. I especially liked the desktop part. My only complaint is that I wish it let you shoot so it would be a bit more immersive.

😊👍

Your game starts at 00:46. We named the dark one Wilbert and all he wanted was a raisin cookie. This was great! Typing the cheat code was nice touch to give it the feel of an old pc game. The map was very well designed. It had places for a jump scare to surprise us. The outer area made us want to go further out so when we got kicked back, it made us want to go right back out. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next project.

Nice. Got it running on Linux quick with proton, if any Linux users are interested in checking this out.

Honestly I liked this but I feel it missed a few things. Perhaps constant entity corners. Like he disappears from one and goes to another but the cycle never ends. That would have been nice. Still, the tone of the game was spot on. Good work!

This was fantastic, there was an immense sense of isolation and the jump-scares really got me. Well done! I would have paid for this or donated if there was the option to :)

Thank you for the opportunity to record this:

this was great, everything from the map to the sound and music, ending was a bit weird though. but besides that you captured the nostalgic creepyness of spawning into a empty game. awesome work mate! (also where could I listen to the music, I really enjoyed it.)

Thanks! If you're talking about that scary ambience music at the end then I can't remember where I got the audio from but I do have the file! If you want, drop me ur email and I'll give you the file.
