THE STORY
Set in 1999, Low Tide puts you alone on a foggy, abandoned beach called Old Quay with only a metal detector. What you dig up isn’t treasure—it’s a story. Piece together the strange past of this place, and decide if you’re ready to learn why no one comes here anymore.
THE METAL DETECTOR IS YOUR BEST FRIEND.
Use your metal detector to progress through the story unveiling the lore about this beach. It is also your eyes when navigating through dark areas.

Included this in my 3 random horror game video!
What a solid game this was indeed! Superb story building for sure with the ghost and what not. Made a video on it.
Interesting game for sure. Kinda wish there was a bit more puzzles in the game, but overall not bad.
Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/@Levont
good
Suspenseful, eerie and a little confusing - decent game.
I was really impressed with the level of detail and how the game showcased this strangely familiar place - the beach. It had a scale and never felt like a small level in the game. The sound design was good, I liked the interactions and the puzzle towards the end. My only complaint about it would be that the ending didn't connect - the story was a bit too ambiguous and I never felt like I had to make a definitive decision. As well as small issues in the game like the metal detector going crazy for some reason and during one of the cutscenes I think the camera was way off the focus.
Overall, recommend checking this one out and finding all the endings. Best of luck with the future games!
(In all fairness, I did compare this to your previous game called "Overnight Camping" - now that one was better, in my opinion)
Thanks for playing! The metal detector seems to have a bug and seeing your video it seems like the place isn't as dark as I wanted it to be. I will also consider changing the story up a tad bit because I absolutely agree that the player didn't have a definitive choice. Thank you for taking the time to review this. It's been a long while since I made a game so forgive me if I'm rusty :p
Not at all, I really liked the overall premise.
Good luck with the future projects!
If it's not my problem, the movement speed of the game is a bit slow. It would be great if there were a running button.
I noticed it aswell. I will fix in a later update.
Thank you so much!
looks awesome gonna try it later :)
